The Cummins M11-C250 is a 10.8-litre, 6-cylinder in-line turbocharged diesel engine, delivering 250 HP (184 kW) at 2,100 RPM and a peak torque of 1,146 Nm at 1,300 RPM. Its widespread applications in construction, agriculture, mining and other industries, in equipment such as Dongfeng trucks, excavators and cranes, further underscore its versatility and importance. The engine features a fuel consumption of 64.4 L/hr at rated power, an idle speed of 675-750 RPM, and is designed for a maximum running altitude of 3,048 metres. The engine has a compression ratio of 16.1:1, a direct injection fuel system and water-cooling for efficient performance.
