The Cummins QSM11-G2 is a 10.8-litre, 6-cylinder in-line, 4-stroke diesel engine used in backup generators. It offers a rated power output of 391 HP (292 kW) at 1,500 RPM and 427 HP (319 kW) at 1,800 RPM, with standby outputs of up to 470 HP (351 kW). The engine has a low idle speed of 675-750 RPM and consumes 69 L/hr at rated power. The engine features a turbocharged, charge-air-cooled system, a compression ratio of 16.3:1, and is equipped with a water-cooled system and a 9.5 L coolant volume. The engine meets Euro II emissions standards and operates efficiently at temperatures as low as -12°C, with an electronic control governor and a 24V electrical system.
