The Cummins QSM11-G1 is a 10.8-litre, 6-cylinder in-line, 4-stroke diesel engine designed for use in backup generators. It provides a rated power output of 314 HP (234 kW) at 1,500 RPM and 359 HP (268 kW) at 1,800 RPM, with standby outputs of up to 395 HP (295 kW). The engine incorporates a turbocharged, charge-air-cooled system, a compression ratio of 16.3:1, and fuel consumption of 56 L/hr at rated power. The engine's low idle speed of 675-750 RPM, coupled with its electronic control governor, ensures efficient operation even in low temperatures of -12°C. Its water-cooled design, with a coolant volume of 9.5 L, contributes to its reliable performance under demanding conditions. The QSM11-G1 is built to Euro II emissions standards and has a net weight of 1,007 kg.
