The Cummins MTAA11-G2A-234KW is a 6-cylinder, 4-stroke diesel engine generator designed for backup power during outages. The engine displacement is 10.8L, with a bore and stroke of 125mm and 147mm, respectively. The generator provides a standby output of 234 kW (257 kW peak) at 1500 rpm, with continuous power of 175 kW at the same speed. It consumes 188 L/kW.h of fuel at rated power and can operate at altitudes of up to 1500m. The engine is turbocharged, charge air cooled, and has a compression ratio of 16.1:1. The vehicle is equipped with a 24V electrical system, a water-cooled cooling method, and a 9.5L engine coolant volume. The lowest starting temperature without auxiliary support is -12°C.
