The Deutz HC12V823/18D is a 12-cylinder, V-type, 4-stroke marine engine with a displacement of 23.812 L, featuring a bore and stroke of 132 mm and 145 mm, respectively. It delivers a rated power of 550 kW (748 HP) at 1800 rpm, with a low idle speed of 550 rpm. The engine is turbocharged and intercooler-equipped, with a fuel consumption rate of ≥195 g/kWh at running speed. It has a compression ratio of 16.5:1 and uses an EUP fuel system.
